We have today made donations to each of these charities. which is something we are now doing every year in lieu of sending Christmas Cards to our clients.
Speaking today, Sherpa CEO, Tom Perry said:
“I have long been a supporter of BEAT and have raised over £100k to date by running the London Marathon a number of times. BEAT have been Sherpa’s chosen charity for the past few years but we also wanted to branch out to support some other charitable causes, which are close to the hearts of our entire team. We opted for Mind BLMK as mental health is so very important and something we take very seriously at Sherpa, the wellbeing of the Sherpa team is never far from my mind and we like to get behind local charities. Finally, MacMillan Cancer support. There are more than 360,000 new cancer cases in the UK every year – the majority of people have been affected either directly or indirectly by this terrible disease. Macmillan is a fantastic charity which offers support not only to those living with cancer, but to the people surrounding them. Charitable outreach is a really important part of our ethos at Sherpa and we are proud to get behind each of these charities and offer our support wherever we can.”
